About the Author
Lucinda Poole Cockrell has worked in the history field since 1979 as a museum professional and archivist. She holds a B.S. in Historic Preservation from Middle Tennessee State University, an M.A. in Museum Education from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and is a Certified Archivist. Her collecting passion is vintage greeting postcards. She currently resides in Tennessee and Vermont with her husband and two Pomeranians, Rosie and Enkidu. Butch Baldassari is respected and admired whether performing in bluegrass festivals or symphony halls. He has appeared on A Prairie Home Companion, CBS This Morning, CNN, and Riders in the Sky Radio Theatre. Butch currently serves as Adjunct Associate Professor of Mandolin at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music. He also has his own

A Lovely Christmas Gift.

A Victorian Christmas: Sentiments and Sounds of a Bygone Era A beautifully illustrated book filled with timeless Christmas stories & songs as well as postcards & poems from a truly bygone era. Located inside the very back of the book is a clear, soft plastic pouch which contains a CD filled with fifteen traditional Christmas Carols. For those who prefer their Christmas Carols without vocals, the melody of these beautifully arranged instrumentals will be gift enough. Published by Thomas Nelson, Inc. this book & CD combo will make a lovely Christmas gift. The only reason I did not leave a 5 Star Rating is because the soft plastic pouch which contains the CD slipped off the back of each book right out of the shipping box. I did not return them because the only indication anything had been on the back page of each book was discoloration from the adhesive residue. Gluing the pouches back into place covered any & all signs a problem ever existed. However, I would stongly recommend using Rubber Glue to anyone replacing the plastic pouch and to the manufacturer as well. According to one Review I read at least one customer found the CD missing entirely. No pouch, no CD, no Christmas music. Too sad.
